NELA London Becomes First Restaurant to Install New Anti Virus & Bacteria Lighting

The Waverly Group and Frido Technologies are proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the installation of the Frido Technologies ProTech 2 system at the newly opened NELA London restaurant, located at The Whiteley, 163 Queensway, London W2 4BD.

The ProTech 2 system utilises 222nm light technology to provide continuous protection against aerosolised and surface pathogens (viruses, bacteria and TB), creating a safer dining environment for guests without disrupting the restaurant experience.

This marks the first installation of the innovative Protech 2 technology in a restaurant setting, positioning NELA London at the forefront of hospitality safety and guest wellbeing.

NELA Restaurants, part of The Waverly Group, brings its acclaimed "Live-Fire Concept" to London, joining sister locations in Amsterdam and Ibiza. The concept features an open-plan kitchen where guests can enjoy front-row seats at the kitchen bar or dine at tables throughout the vibrant space, complemented by a stylish bar area and private dining rooms.
